Architect Murray Cockburn has this beautiful hideaway in Arthurs Point, New Zealand. Designed with environmental considerations in the foreground, Kohara Lodge from recycled wood and natural slate railways built. The owners wish was the natural landscape as much as possible so that the architect planted taken to preserve the natural hill in the design of the building and the area with native trees. The house is an open type with lots of windows provide offers great views of the nearby river and Shotover Coronet Peak. On the inside of the modern house has its own rustic atmosphere, and the return fed slate, combined with the wooden ceiling, fill the classic furnishings Mountain Retreat.
